Jennifer specializes in working with those struggling with eating disorders, body-image, anxiety, depression, job burnout, family conflict, life transitions, and children with parents in ministry. She holds a deep understanding of various therapeutic approaches including EFFT (Emotion Focused Family Therapy) DBT, CBT, and ACT. Jennifer specializes in providing group, individual, and family counseling. Holding a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, she’s also earned a Bachelor’s in Christian Ministries and an Associates in Practical Theology. Jennifer is Certified as an LPC in Texas and Colorado, an LCPC in Illinois, and a CAMS-V Anger Management Specialist.
Throughout her career, she’s worked in outpatient, residential, and inpatient settings with adults and adolescents struggling with eating disorders, mood, self-harm behaviors, and Individuals who are transitioning home from a treatment center.
When not engaged in counseling practice, you’ll find her spending quality time with family, exploring the outdoors, and infusing joy into everyday life with spontaneous kitchen dance parties.
